Return & Refund Policies

GROUP, SEMI-PRIVATE, AND PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS, EVENTS, WORKSHOPS

Payment Methods
Registration and payment must be received in advance to guarantee spot. Payment options include: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard), Checks, Cash, or Debit (in person only). Please note that all prices listed for the garage dance studio group or semi-private classes, and private lessons are in US dollars.

Refunds for Dance Lessons/Events/Workshops
Please note that there are NO refunds for all dance lesson bookings /Event Bookings, Workshop Bookings. No credits for missed group and/or semi-private classes, or gift certificates purchased.

At the discretion of the management, credit will be given toward future sessions, events and/or workshops in special circumstances (e.g., Medical, travels ,weather conditions )

Group and Semi-Private Workshop Missed Classes
Discounted package rates are available for group and semi-private classes, with schedules posted on our website at www.Garagedancestudio.com as well as in our information pamphlets.

Each workshop is approximately 55 minutes in length, with some semi-supervised practice time available immediately after the formal lesson. Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time. A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability.

For students who miss or are unable to attend any scheduled group or semi-private classes, please note that there are no make-up classes. In addition, students will not receive credit for missed classes.

Students may transfer their registration to another person for the same program set at no charge, providing there are spots available.

Lesson Cancellation, Rescheduling Notice, & Structure
For private and semi-private lessons, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is needed to cancel or re-schedule without charge. Otherwise, the “pay-as-you-go” or discounted package rate will apply, whichever was booked for that time.

Each private lesson is approximately 55 minutes in length. Please note that there may be multiple instructors and lessons on the dance floor at any time; a surcharge will apply if a student desires exclusive use of the dance floor.

A different instructor may be assigned based on dance styles or availability.

Lessons may be rescheduled with advance notice from Garage Dance Studio or HARTS, and may take place in either the rooms of the studio.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for group classes or private lessons. Recipients must specify and attend a group class program or private lesson within 12 months from the booking date indicated on the certificate, or the certificate will expire and will no longer be redeemable.

Special Offers & Promotions
From time to time, there may be special offers and discounts offered through official event, marketing, or activity partners. Please note that these offers cannot be combined with any other Offers & Promotions, and have no cash value.  Offers, promotions and coupons can be used for any single purchase on regularly priced items only.

Returned Checks
Returned cheques are subject to a $35 NSF fee.

Liability Waiver
As with other recreational sports and physical activities, there is always the potential for injury. All clients must sign our standard Liability Waiver prior to the start of their first group, semi-private, or private lesson package.

Other

• Observers are only permitted at the Garage Dance Studio Open Houses (please see our Event Schedule for upcoming dates and times), but not during any formal group, semi-private or private lessons.
• Cell phones must be placed on silent, vibrate or off while classes are in session.
• Please dispose of all trash and materials in the appropriate receptacles.
• Please note that Garage Dance Studio /HARTS  are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
• items or products purchased from the gifts / clothing shop are not returnable. please make sure you ask front desk for details.
