HARTS Beginners Tango, Vals, Milonga

Designed to introduce the basic elements of tango, Vals, and Milonga how to transition between the basic elements, the walk, the embrace, musicality and a few more fun elements for “wow” factor.
Beginners Program : on Second & fourth Saturday from January – April 2020
1:00 – 2:30 pm 1.5 hour ( Tango, Vals, Milonga for beginners )
Feb 6th – March 27 – will have make up days in case of bad weather.
Vals & Milonga are two dances that are closely related to Tango, when you attend a ‘milonga’ in the future (a social dance), you will hear milongas and valses played alongside tangos. They are different from tango primarily in terms of their rhythm: milonga has a specific syncopation, and vals is composed in 3/4 time.
The Beginners series will introduce Vals and Milonga during Tango classes to get you familiar with the three dance styles in your early stages of your Tango journey .

Mini Private session $40 for 30 min per person ( single teacher)
Note to beginner students: Those who complete the Fundamentals of Tango series will be accepted into an intermediate level class after graduation and receiving the seal of approval from our panel of judges… in an other word students must pass a fun test.
Instruction will be by Muna Swairjo . Students will be guided in a fun and affirming manner.
Attire for beginners : Includes comfortable clothing, Please wear closed toe, non-rubber bottom shoes. Grab something to eat prior to the class we need you energized .
