Paloma Berrios & Maximiliano Alvarado

Teachers and dancers of Argentine Tango with 20th years of experience and knowledge in Stage and Salón tango style. Our philosophy is to inspire our students to enjoy the embrace and love for tango, promoting the connection and improvisation between couples. We have participated in festivals and workshops in Europe, South America, North America and Asia. Awards 1st place World Tango Championship TAFISA 2008 (Busan, South Korea). 2nd place World Tango Championship 2007 (BA, Argentine). 6 finals World Tango Championship (BA, Argentine). Several first places in national competitions Chile .

Saturday October 25th
1:00 – 2:15 pm : Tango : Cross or parallel system? Different uses and options.
2:30- 3:45 pm : Milonga in slow time: retentions to get the calm and get ready for accelerations

Milonga 9 pm – 1 am – professional performance at 11 pm Halloween Milonga on Saturday night. Divas & Playboys / Witches and Warlocks.

Sunday October 26th
1:00 – 2:15 pm – Vals : “Americanas” improving the execution, timing and directions
2:30 – 3:45 pm – Tango: Pausing elaborated movements with density and grounded

4 – 7 milonguita with Pizza for all

It is our afternoon monthly Milonguita and occurs on the second Sunday afternoon from 2-7 pm price $20PP.

Every HARTS Milonga, and Milonguitas feature great music spun by HARTS DJ’s Muna and other near by community DJs , delicious Milonga refreshments ,home made by HARTS Community and great atmosphere

HARTS Practice Wednesdays

8:30- 10 pm $10

It’s time to Combine practice for all of those amazing things that you’ve learned in the HARTS Mastering Tango Series and HARTS Special Topics, Workshops you attended.

DJs local or guests will bring on Alternative Music, to spice up your tango style palate It is a practica as a learning environment, we play music for everyone to dance, following the tandas system ( 3 songs per tanda with cortinas between tandas) some guidance from teachers and experienced dancers will be provided if needed but no instructions given during the tandas played.

Beginner Friendly

If you are new to tango, or only know two moves, this is great place for you to experience the Milonga social dance scene and break through the fear factors , practice and develop your dance.

It’s A Sunday Soiree

Ballroom Dancing classes each class cost is $15 or both for $20

Mondays 6:00 pm Ballroom Techniques followed by 6:45 pm Smooth or rhythm class

Your teacher is Wendy Nielsen Professional Ballroom teacher and award winner , She gained recognition in the American style Rhythm and smooth dance categories .

Sunday Soiree

is hosted by Wendy Nielsen- call for more details 860-202-4648 every First and Third Sunday of the month .

The dance/party at 2 pm – 6 pm .( 4-7 pm after memorial day)

Come and Practice your ballroom dance, smooth, rhythm, Socialize with your friends.

All levels of dancers are welcome and urged to attend!

Normal admission for the general public will be $20
